Tarezin Terms of Use

Last updated: September 24, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Tarezin’s iOS app, website, and related services. Tarezin lets adults discover and contribute content connected to real places through augmented reality. Read these Terms together with our Community Guidelines and Privacy Policy.

Your agreement with Tarezin

By creating an account or using Tarezin, you agree to these Terms and the Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The Privacy Policy explains how information is handled; agreeing to these Terms is not consent to every form of personal-data processing.

Tarezin is operated in Brazil by the operator identified in the Privacy Policy. “Tarezin,” “we,” and “our” refer to that operator. Nothing in these Terms excludes a right, remedy, or obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Eligibility and account security

You must be at least 18 and legally able to agree to these Terms. Provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and contact support promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for your own use of the account and for activity you authorize, subject to applicable law.

Do not sell, transfer, share, or give another person access to your account. Password sign-in, Sign in with Apple, and Google Sign-In are supported. A provider’s own terms also apply to its sign-in service.

Using AR at real places

Some actions require you to be near a place, banner, or 3D object; others depend on a recorded interaction with that place. These location requirements are part of the service. They do not give you permission to enter or use any property.

Pay attention to your surroundings and follow traffic laws, property rules, and instructions from site operators or authorities. Do not use AR while driving, crossing a road, or doing anything that makes viewing or contributing content unsafe. Do not trespass, enter restricted areas, or create a hazard for yourself or others.

GPS, camera tracking, maps, and device sensors can be inaccurate. A virtual object, banner, or place label is not a statement that a location is safe, accessible, open to the public, or endorsed by its owner. Tarezin is not an emergency service or a substitute for real-world safety information.

Your content and the rights you need

You retain the rights you hold in the content you submit. Uploading content does not transfer ownership to Tarezin. You are responsible for what you submit, including profile information, comments, photos, videos, audio within videos, and 3D files.

Before uploading, make sure you own the content or have the rights, licenses, permissions, and consents needed for its use through Tarezin. This includes copyright, trademarks, music, images and voices of people, privacy and publicity rights, and any restrictions applying to the location or material depicted. Giving credit, finding a file online, or buying a copy does not by itself grant permission to upload or redistribute it.

For a public 3D object, your permission must cover making the file available through the sharing and download features offered by the app. A license that allows you to use a model in your own work may not allow distribution of the model file to other users. You are responsible for checking those conditions before uploading.

Do not submit content that violates another person’s rights or the Community Guidelines. To the extent permitted by law, you remain responsible for claims and losses attributable to your unlawful content or breach of these Terms. This does not transfer Tarezin’s own non-excludable legal responsibilities to you.

Permission to operate the service

By submitting content, you give Tarezin a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and make technically necessary adaptations of that content to operate, secure, moderate, support, and improve the service. This permission is limited by the content’s selected audience and the public-place features through which you submit it. It includes delivery through service providers acting for Tarezin for those purposes.

The license ends when the content is deleted, except to the extent necessary for lawful retention, backup removal, security, or legal proceedings as described in the Privacy Policy. Those exceptions do not authorize unrelated reuse of deleted content. Deletion cannot recall copies other people have already saved or shared outside Tarezin.

We do not pre-approve every submission, guarantee the uploader’s rights, or endorse user content. The person uploading it remains responsible for having the permissions described above.

Visibility and downloads

Place posts can be Public, Friends, or Private. Profile information and place-activity records have their own visibility, as explained in the Privacy Policy. Choosing Private for a post does not make every association between your account and that place private.

3D objects are public place content. Where available, other users may view, share, and download them through the app. These features do not transfer copyright or grant an unrestricted license to sell, redistribute, modify, or otherwise exploit someone else’s work. Any further use requires permission from the relevant rights holder or another lawful basis. Downloading a file does not establish that the uploader owns all rights to it.

Tarezin’s own name, branding, software, and supplied creative assets remain subject to their owners’ rights. Access to them through the service does not transfer ownership. Any separate license supplied with an asset continues to apply.

You may select and place the models supplied in Tarezin’s 3D Library through the features offered in the app, subject to these Terms. This permission covers their use in the resulting Tarezin place experience; it does not grant an unrestricted license to sell the model files, redistribute an asset library, or claim authorship of Tarezin’s supplied assets.

Acceptable use

Copyright and other rights complaints

If you believe content infringes your copyright, trademark, privacy, image, voice, publicity, or other rights, contact [email protected]. The Copyright and Takedown link in the iOS Settings Legal section opens our complaint guidance.

Identify the content and the rights concerned, explain why you believe they are infringed, give contact information, and state whether you are the rights holder or an authorized representative. Include a good-faith statement that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and describe the action you request. A URL, content identifier, screenshot, or place description can help us locate the material. Submit only information necessary for the request.

We may seek clarification or supporting information, assess a response from the uploader, dismiss an unsupported or abusive complaint, remove content, or take other lawful action under these Terms. A sufficiently identified concern may require action before every requested detail is available. We may act without a court order where appropriate or required by law. We do not decide final ownership disputes as a court would, and removal is not a final determination of infringement.

Moderation and service access

Tarezin uses selected automated text checks, user reports, blocking tools, and manual review. These measures do not guarantee that every violation will be prevented, detected, or removed immediately. Reporting content does not automatically hide it or guarantee a particular outcome.

We reserve the right to remove or restrict content, suspend publication while a concern is investigated, preserve relevant evidence, or restrict, suspend, or end access when reasonably necessary to address suspected violations, serious or repeated misuse, safety risks, security issues, legal obligations, or platform requirements. These rights do not mean that every measure is automatic or available in every situation.

We may act before notifying you where the circumstances or the law require it. Where appropriate and permitted, we may explain a decision or request more information. You can ask support to review a decision by identifying the affected content or account and explaining your concern. Review does not guarantee restoration or disclosure of confidential information about another person. Mandatory notice, review, and other legal rights remain unaffected.

Advertising and payment for content

Tarezin currently has no advertising placements, ad-network SDKs, paid sponsorship placements, or paid promotion within banners, posts, or 3D objects. Posting content does not entitle you to payment or a revenue share. Any future advertising or monetization features will be subject to the terms and disclosures applicable when introduced.

Account deletion

You may stop using Tarezin at any time. To delete your account, open Settings, Danger Zone, Delete Account, and complete the verification shown. See Account Deletion Help for the effects of deletion and how to get assistance.

Collaborative banners are released to the system rather than deleted with your account. Lawfully retained records and copies held outside Tarezin may remain as described in the Privacy Policy. Account deletion does not erase responsibility for earlier unlawful conduct or delete your Apple, Google, or other third-party accounts.

Availability and third parties

Features, compatibility, and available place content may change. Maintenance, network conditions, device limitations, security incidents, and legal or operational requirements may interrupt the service. We do not promise that a particular place, banner, post, or 3D object will remain available. Keep your own copies of content you need to retain.

Apple, Google, hosting, storage, email, map services, and device features may support parts of Tarezin. Their own terms may apply to their services. We do not control every aspect of those services; this does not exclude responsibilities that applicable law places on Tarezin for its own service or chosen providers.

Street-based planned banners use OpenStreetMap data, © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License. Our restrictions on Tarezin’s own assets do not override rights granted under applicable third-party or open-source licenses.

Beta versions

These Terms and the Community Guidelines also apply during beta testing. A beta version may contain defects, change, expire, or become unavailable. Keep separate copies of material you need. Beta participation does not guarantee continued access, preservation of test content, or a particular future feature. These conditions do not limit mandatory legal rights.

Apple’s TestFlight terms govern its distribution service separately. Feedback and diagnostic information are handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Use only content you may lawfully share during testing, and do not include passwords or unrelated private information in feedback or screenshots.

Disclaimers and limits of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Tarezin is provided “as is” and “as available,” without additional guarantees of uninterrupted availability, error-free content, or accurate AR placement. You are responsible for using it safely and lawfully and for evaluating information supplied by other users.

To the extent liability may lawfully be excluded, Tarezin and its operator exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, business opportunities, or expected savings. We are not responsible for loss attributable solely to your unlawful or unsafe use, or solely to a third party’s conduct, where the law permits that exclusion. These provisions do not exclude liability for Tarezin’s own conduct where exclusion is prohibited.

Nothing in these Terms waives mandatory consumer or data-protection rights, limits a remedy the law requires, or prevents a person from reporting concerns to an authority or bringing a lawful claim. Any limitation applies only within the limits allowed by law.

Governing law and changes to these Terms

Brazilian law governs these Terms, subject to mandatory protections that apply to you. Disputes may be brought before the courts or authorities with lawful jurisdiction. You are not required to waive a legally protected choice of forum or resolve a dispute through support before exercising your rights.

We may update these Terms as the service or applicable requirements change. The current version and its revision date are available at tarezin.com/terms. We will give notice of material changes as required by law and obtain agreement where required. Changes do not retroactively waive rights or authorize new uses of personal information without a valid legal basis.
